These yarn bowls are thrown on the wheel, with a hand carved face and feet. The come in a variety of colors.
I ordered the Calico Cat Yarn Bowl. It took about 7 weeks to get here, which is totally understandable, as it was a custom order. I was somewhat disappointed with it after paying close to $70. I love the size, but the little feet on the bottom and face are not fully attached. There are also air bubbles in the glaze and spots where it looks like it is separating. I haven’t contacted the company as of yet to see if they will take care of it.
I really like this bowl. I went with the Siamese color cat and it is very cute and adorable. It is a beautiful cream color with brown points and blue eyes. It works well and the yarn glides through. I also like the little scuff pads on the bottom which keeps it from sliding on my hardwood floors.
